Le Marche Magazine is the first bilingual online magazine revolving around the Italian region of Le Marche. The concept was born of an idea by Elisa Generali, co-founder of events company Merry Le Marche and boutique scattered residence and venue Borgo Loretello , who one day on her return from a work trip around the region, realised that a detailed online magazine aimed at both Italians and foreign visitors about the region, didn’t yet exist.

Elisa then teamed up with Isabel Carmichael, her writing partner from gastronomic editorial project The Aniseed Diaries, a fellow professional translator and copywriter with a background in creative events. They began to collect stories and detailed accounts of the many artisans and traditions that can be found in the region and beyond. Their aim, to give narrative to Le Marche region and the fascinating folk that make it what it is, so that both visitors to it and those who live there, have the opportunity to share the same stories.

Together with Elisa and Isabel, a number of passionate contributors work together to bring you Le Marche Magazine. Through personal accounts, stories and photography, natives and expats alike offer a charmingly quirky portrait of this special region.

Le Marche Magazine will soon be available as a recycled printed edition produced twice annually. Please await details for publications dates.
